From the Heart - Heartfelt Sympathy

Hi Everyone!
I want to share with you a card from a special designer, Faith Skrdla. I discovered From the Heart designs just over a year ago. I fell in love with Faith's creations and participated in a couple of her challenges.  The blog posts began to slow down, and it was the end of the summer that she shared with us her battle with brain cancer. Unfortunately,  she lost this battle the end of July. I am sad that she  has passed.  I know that God has a purpose for every thing.  It is not for us to understand why but for us to trust that this is part of his plan. Faith has touched so many lives with her God-given talent. Here's is my card to honor Faith's talent and her life. There has been a Gofundme account set up for her family at...https://www.gofundme.com/faith-skrdla039s-family-support

Hi Everyone!
We have a new challenge this week at Little Red Wagon - Dogs or Cats? Unfortunately we lost our little Jack Russell, Jaxson this past February.  I laugh and say he was my 3rd child!   My husband got him for me for Valentine's day 14 years ago. He said I needed something to nurture since the kiddos were leaving home!  I still miss him greatly.  We've decided not to get another puppy for now, I don't think we'd find another pup like Jax.  We have a gray tabby - Fitz, and we are now officially a cat family! He amuses us - when he wants to!
So for this week's challenge Jan wants us to use a dog or a cat, (or both) on your creation! Join us in the challenge, you can link up your entry at Little Red Wagon. I can't wait to see if there are more dogs or more cats! You have until next Tuesday to participate!

Because I found these adorable stamps at the recent Rubber Stamp Convention in Mesa, Arizona.  I couldn't wait to make some birthday cards and Father's Day cards.  I created the background with a cube stamp that had the net, minnow, can of worms and used the bucket of minnows for the accent piece.  You can purchase accessories for this cute little bear, too.  I bought several different hats & shoes to mix them up, there are so many possibilities!  Head over to the Little Red Wagon blog and check out the manly cards from the design team.  You can join in with the fun too, you have until next Tuesday to play.

Winner, Winner - Chicken Dinner!

I have a  little bit of housekeeping to do on my blog, so I thought I'd try to get caught up a little.  First of all we have a winner! Woo Hoo!  I entered a From the Heart sketch challenge back in late February and guess what? I was selected as a Top 3 pick chosen by the Design Team! That really made my day! Here is my card that did it for me!

and secondly I entered the Bugaboo March Color Challenge and low and behold I was selected as a top winner - I won 10 digi stamps! Woot Woot!
Here is the crazy card that the Bugaboo team selected.
Really, it doesn't take much to excite me but it really made my day!
Hope you all have a wonderful week!
